A National Leader in Care

For the third consecutive year, Lehigh Valley Hospital ranks among the nation’s best for saving the lives of heart attack patients.

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ “Hospital Compare” data released in July ranks the hospital in second place in survival rates for heart attack patients among the 4,100 hospitals in the United States. (Learn more at hospitalcompare.hhs.gov.)

Lehigh Valley Hospital received recognition in 2008 as the nation’s top hospital for heart attack survival, and as the top hospital in Pennsylvania for heart attack survival in both the 2009 and 2010 report.
