Cancer Center 2011 Statistical Report
Learn about Lehigh Valley Health Network's Cancer Center in this new publication. You'll learn about statistics from 2010, as well as many facts about our cancer program, including:
- We’re a proud participant in the National Cancer Institute’s National Community Cancer Centers Program (NCCCP). Only 30 cancer institutions in the nation hold this privilege.
- We treated more than 3,000 cancer patients in 2010. The most commonly treated cancers were lung, breast, colon/rectal, prostate and gynecologic.
- Almost 35 percent of the patients we treated in 2010 were diagnosed at another health care facility and referred to Lehigh Valley Health Network for all or part of their treatment.
