Ensuring your child lives a happy, healthy life is one of your most important responsibilities, and ours as well. As the region's leader in pediatrics, Lehigh Valley Health Network is passionate about seeing children grow up healthy, happy and strong.

As a Level II pediatric trauma center, we provide the highest level of trauma care for children in the region. We have the region's only pediatric surgeons and anesthesiologists, and the only pediatric intensive care unit. Plus, our pediatric physicians are board-certified in 28 clinical specialties such as cancer, cardiology, critical care and trauma, endocrinology, gastroenterology, neurology, pulmonology, allergies, radiology, rheumatology, adolescent medicine, and more. We also offer several pediatric health care services not found anywhere else in the region. This includes:

• A Children's ER staffed by pediatric emergency physicians
• A Level III neonatal intensive care unit providing the region's highest level of neonatal care
• Child life specialists who help children relax and adjust while in the hospital

Lehigh Valley Health Network is a member of the National Association of Children’s Hospitals and Related Institutions (NACHRI) – the only hospital in the Lehigh Valley region to meet the criteria for membership. One of only 240 NACHRI institutions in the U.S., our health network has a "hospital within a hospital" facility model with physicians, nurses and support staff specially educated and devoted to meting the unique needs of children and their families.
