Spotlight on smiles
Our Miles of Smiles mobile dental clinic received accolades in the Summer issue of BJ's Journal, the magazine of BJ’s Wholesale Club. The article, which spotlighted the mobile clinic's community outreach, quoted director of grants Nancy Lloyd and Lehigh Valley Hospital-17th Street department of dental medicine practice director Pat Atno. BJ's Charitable Foundation has donated $7,500 to the Miles of Smiles program.

Forget the groundhog! Lehigh Valley Hospital—Muhlenberg colleagues know spring has sprung by looking for the geese that call the hospital's front lawn 'home.' She and her mate take up residence near the hospital's ring road every year. To keep the geese safe in this busy area, security guard Randy Achey sets out traffic cones.
