About

Philosophy of care

I am committed to providing care with excellence and love. I also am committed to performing research that will translate into improving the care we provide, as well as, educating the next generation of health care providers.

Why I entered medicine

I came from a family of pharmacists and nurses, and had a lifelong interest in medicine.

Community involvement

I have several medical society memberships with leadership positions, and I am a national member of the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma. We have made numerous charitable contributions to support these societies and fund research grant for the next generations of health care providers.

Personal interests

I enjoy spending time with my wife and family, running, playing golf and listening to sports talk radio.
