Advanced Foot Surgery
Our podiatrists will treat most conditions without surgery. Often, changing shoes, wearing inserts in your shoes (orthotics), exercise or rest can correct the problem. When these more conservative treatments do not work, our podiatrists are specially educated to provide a surgical treatment.
Some of the most common surgeries are:
- Bunionectomy—surgically removing bunions
- Ingrown nail removal
- Surgical repair of Achilles tendon rupture
- Bone grafts
- Ankle arthroscopy—minimally invasive surgery
- Arthrodesis—fusing joints in the toes or ankles when arthritis is causing pain and immobility
- Non-surgical and surgical treatments for club foot, flat feet, toe walking and other childhood foot conditions
