Working as a Technical Partner

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Minimum six-months experience in direct provision of patient care, preferably in a skilled nursing facility and/or hospital, is required.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care, including treatments and diagnostic studies such as venipuncture, electrocardiograms, pulse oximetry, glucose monitoring, vital signs, provide skin care and comfort measures, position patients, assist in ambulation and transferring of patients, transport patients, assist and prepare patients for meals and feedings, record intake and outputs, give bedpan, urinal  and emesis basin, assist with admission, transfer and discharge, pre- and post-operative care, post mortem care, change bed linens, assist with collecting specimens, answer call lights.

Testing Requirements

WorkKeys pre-employment testing measures teamwork and observation abilities. Commitment to a three and one-half hour block of time is necessary.

Orientation/Education

Successful completion of a six-week, full-time, paid, day shift classroom/clinical orientation is required.

Uniform

Royal blue top, white bottom, white leather shoes/sneakers.
