Lehigh Valley Health Network is passionate about viewing care through the eyes of patients and family members. We recognize the value of patients’ and family members’ perspectives and incorporate them into all of our activities, interactions, plans and decisions.
This commitment is evident through our Patient-Centered Experience initiative, a journey to ensure all patients and family members have ideal experiences at any location throughout the health network. We evaluate all aspects of care, including improving how patients and family members navigate our campuses and doctors’ offices, providing care that is sensitive to all cultures and disabilities and including family members in patients’ care.
Making this vision come alive are colleagues from throughout the health network, in addition to community members who serve on our Patient-Centered Experience Advisory Council. These members also serve on unit and department committees, ensuring patient and family members’ voices are considered in decisions.
Our passion for patient-centered care, and commitment to include patients’ and family members’ perspectives in our decisions, means a higher level of care for you and your loved ones.
