Your Heart on Stress
Attend a free Heart Help for Women event and learn to cope with stress and anxiety
Work deadlines, family responsibilities, errands to run, bills to pay—the demands of everyday life never seem to go away. What's more, the stress and anxiety you feel may be damaging your heart. You're invited to a Heart Help for Women event where you can learn to de-stress your heart.
Titled "Your Heart on Stress," the event will be held at two convenient locations on Wear Red for Women Day, a time when women band together to wipe out heart disease. So make time for yourself, and bring a family member or friend.

If you were registered for the Feb. 5, 2010 date, you are automatically enrolled for the new date, but if you cannot attend please call 610-402-CARE (2273).
At the event, you will:
- Meet cardiologists who will discuss stress and its relationship to heart disease, high blood pressure and heart rate
- Discover why stress makes it harder for you to manage heart disease risk factors
- Learn how extreme stress may cause broken heart syndrome, a serious health concern
- Hear from behavioral health experts about different methods to control stress
