Spirit of Courage
Here’s your chance to honor your heroes
The Valley Preferred Spirit of Courage Award Celebration is an annual event to honor men and women who have risked their lives to save others from a burn injury or death by fire. People who have done an outstanding job promoting fire safety and burn prevention in the community also are honored at the event.
You can be part of this celebration in several ways:
- Nominate your hero. You can nominate a first responder or civilian who risked his or her life to save someone from a burn or death by fire; or an individual, group or organization that has done an outstanding job providing fire safety and burn prevention education. Nominations are due by June 15, 2012.
- Sponsor the event. Proceeds benefit the Burn Prevention Network and Lehigh Valley Health Network’s Regional Burn Center.
- Attend the event. The seventh annual celebration will be held Oct. 2, 2012 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg.
