Support of Survivors Breast Cancer Helpline

When you need to be heard or understood, to feel connected or talk things through.

When you need someone to listen to your fears, and when your family needs support, too.

These are times to call the SOS survivors helpline to talk with someone who understands.

The SOS helpline is designed to help women take an active role in their recovery. This peer support helpline connects callers with other breast cancer survivors through a dedicated voice mailbox. The service enables women to address the many issues that emerge through diagnosis, treatment and survivorship. Callers can also access information about community resources, including support groups, wigs, prostheses and other services.

Each helpline volunteer has lived the experience of breast cancer and is specially qualified to provide information and support tailored to the individual caller. Excellent listening skills and intensive training in breast cancer topics make them a tremendous source of information. Our volunteers also receive ongoing education and support from a professional counselor.

You can call the helpline 24 hours a day at 610-402-4SOS (4767). Please leave a message and a volunteer will return your call.
