Hey I’m Eva. I am from Long Island, NY and went to Gettysburg College in PA where I majored in biochemistry and molecular biology and minored in music. After college I worked as a medical scribe in Queens for a year before attending New York Medical College for medical school. I am interested in working as a generalist and in family planning after residency.

Outside of work I like to spend time outdoors with my husband and dog - preferably hiking, skiing, or at the beach depending on the season. I got into rock climbing as a medical student and when I can find the time I love going to climbing gyms with friends. I also play violin and I enjoy playing music in my spare time.

As a new intern, I am still learning about the Lehigh Valley, but so far I have loved the easy access to many parks and hiking trails. With Allentown and Bethlehem nearby, there are also lots of great places to go out for dinner and drinks with your co-residents.

My favorite thing about this residency program so far is how the residents and attendings have created a supportive educational environment while also maintaining high expectations and high quality care. As a new intern consistently felt like my upper year residents were willing to help me with anything I needed, both at work and at home, and this type of learning environment will help me to become a confident and skilled obstetrician and gynecologist.
