Hello, I am Salam Syed, a PGY-1 resident. I am originally from Baltimore, Maryland. I went to University of Maryland for both undergraduate and medical school. I am passionate about women’s health and global health. I am also really interested in working with victims of human trafficking, sexual abuse, and domestic violence.

I enjoy being outdoors and staying active. My hobbies include hiking, swimming, and dancing. I come from a very large and close Pakistani family for which I am incredibly grateful.
