My name is Samira Hassan and I am originally from Bradenton, Florida. I attended Johns Hopkins University for undergrad, and went to the University of Central Florida College of Medicine for Medical school. My career interests are minimally invasive gynecological surgery, and generalist. Outside of my career, my interests are cooking, the beach, grilling with friend & family, swimming and cats. 

What I like most about Lehigh Valley is the rolling hills & mountains, the ease to travel to surrounding cities, and the four seasons (very different from Florida!). I also love the camaraderie between the residents & faculty & the cohesiveness/support between the residents.

FUN FACT… I am half Egyptian & love to bake baklava!
