Respiratory care conferences
Clinical Insights in Respiratory Care is a continuing education conference Thursday, Sept. 18, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. Topics covered will include using ECMO, pediatric asthma, early mobilization in ICU, palliative care, future goals of the respiratory care profession and more.

Current Issues and Challenges in Palliative Medicine: 2014 Fleming Symposium
This symposium on Friday, Sept. 19, will discuss the broadening scope of palliative care and the impact of health care reform, as well as issues in communication and ethics. The event is 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest.
