Colon and Rectal Surgery Fellowship Benefits

The following program-specific benefits are offered to colon and rectal surgery fellows in addition to the graduate medical education (GME)-wide salary and benefits.

  • On-call meal allowance
  • Conference and travel:
    • $1,500 maximum of two conferences; up to five days each conference
    • Second conference granted at the discretion of program director
  • Certifications as required – Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Access to Surgery Education Center (endoscopy and robotic simulators)
  • American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons membership
  • Colon and Rectal Surgery In-Training Exam (CARSITE)
