Close to Home: Cancer Survivorship

Oncology is a demanding field. It requires creative problem-solving, compassionate care and the ability to meet people coping with the most difficult diagnosis many have faced. We are privileged to have the opportunity to understand the challenges faced by these patients, their families and doctors in a documentary that features patients and health care providers from Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN).

Wisdom. Strength. Grace.

Close to Home: Cancer Survivorship, was produced locally by PBS 39 with support from LVHN and the Catherine Boulay Foundation. This moving film follows LVHN oncology physicians and their patients as they contend with fear, hope, faith, journey, advocacy and caregiving. In beautifully shot interviews, you hear the wisdom, learn from the inner strength, and sense the grace patients felt and continue to feel on their journeys.
