Considerations Before Scheduling a COVID-19 Vaccine Appointment

There are some reasons to carefully plan when you have your COVID-19 vaccine:

  • You must be symptom-free and 10 days out from a positive COVID-19 test result before receiving the vaccine. Please schedule your appointment at least 10 days after your COVID-19 test.
  • You must wait 90 days after a COVID-19 antibody treatment to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. If you have already received your first dose of vaccine before receiving monoclonal antibody treatment for COVID-19, you do not need to repeat the first dose.
  • Appointments for people age 12-17 must be made by a parent or guardian.
