Navigating the Match

COVID-19 has created new challenges for medical students applying during the 2023-2024 application season. SLOE Tutorials

The Council of Residency Directors (CORD) in emergency medicine has compiled resources for medical students interested in the field of emergency medicine. They are meant to supplement the support provided by the students’ medical school adviser.

Topics included are the following:

SLOEs and letters of recommendation
Applicant types – IMG, military, couples

When you apply to any emergency medicine residency you should have at least one Standard Letter of Evaluation (SLOE) in your application.
