About
Philosophy of care
I believe in treating you as my own family member. I also believe in not just focusing on one health issue; medicine is not one treatment fits all, even for the same health problem. A doctor must know each patient’s history and assemble all aspects of an individual to find the best treatment. I never want to see you as a number. I like to and walk into a patient's room knowing who I’m talking to.
Why I entered medicine
It’s not uncommon to hear that, despite all the health issues women face, childbirth is simply focused on the newborn baby. So I wanted to enter the field of “women’s health,” one too often not seen as an actual health issue, to be a healer. Whether it’s heavy bleeding, mood changes with age, urinary incontinence or even unbearable hot flashes, a lot of women’s issues are lumped together as "happens to all females." So I entered medicine to be an advocate for women's health. In this century, medical problems women face should be managed properly. As an obstetrician, holding a baby at the moment of birth and being with families during their happy moment is an amazing feeling.
Community involvement
I have supported several organizations helping people in developing nations.
Personal interests
I love that I have forgotten what "personal" is since becoming a mom. My life is centered around my kids and my house. Spending time with my family, whether it’s watching movies at home or traveling with them, is golden time.
