About Dr. Einsig
Philosophy of care
I offer you a thorough evaluation and management of pain, numbness, body alignment problems, spasm and dysfunction in activities of daily living, sports and occupation. My emphasis is sports medicine and non-narcotic interventional pain management, injections, electrodiagnostics (EMG/NCS), nerve blocks, RFA, spinal cord stimulation trials and more. But first I listen to you, getting a detailed history of your problem or goal, and doing a good hands-on physical exam and biomechanics evaluation. I offer correction through orthotics, stretching and exercise, and other simple interventions such as topicals, modalities, relaxants, non-steroidals and non-opiates.
Why I entered medicine
As a lifetime athlete, I came to appreciate the incredible workings and capabilities of the human body and brain. Physical and Sports Medicine was a natural career choice. I am one of a handful of MD/ATC’s (physician and certified athletic trainers) in the country. I am passionate about helping people achieve their best function while reducing pain and other roadblocks.
Community involvement
For 25 years I’ve been a volunteer coach, working with athletes in multiple sports, from the youth to the college levels. I advocate for non-substance use and have spoken at the International Overdose Awareness Day summit at the Harrisburg State Capitol for three years.
Personal interests
I am the author of “Beyond Gravity - Vector Fitness Training,” and the U.S. patent holder for Vector Fitness BodySled exercise machines and methods. I love all forms of sports, games and recreational outdoor activities, travel and adventure. I am a father of four and a proud PopPop!
