About

Philosophy of care

I am a strong advocate for preventive medicine. I enjoy the management of chronic, complex disease, as well as preventing those diseases from causing trouble.

Why I entered medicine

I became interested in medicine during high school, when my grandfather suddenly became very ill. A team of ICU doctors essentially brought him back to life and he remained healthy another 20 years. I have always enjoyed biology and anatomy, and wanted to make an impact on people’s lives.

Community involvement

I participate in the American Heart Association and the HIV/AIDS walks.

Personal interests

I enjoy kickboxing, traveling, snowboarding and spending time with family.
