About

Philosophy of care

Do the right thing. Excellent patient care requires attentiveness to detail in combination with a desire to maintain a high standard of ethical/moral practice. Integration of medical knowledge and ethical practice yields the best patient care for you.

Why I entered medicine

Surgery started off for me as a fascination with the intricacy of anatomy and physiology. After training, I have come to see how I can enrich the lives of my patients and their families through my work. Further, my specialty in Trauma/Acute Care Surgery has offered opportunities to improve access to care and help meet the surgical needs of the community.

Community involvement

My wife and I are involved in our church. We also have both gone on international missions work and hope to continue to do this in the future.

Personal interests

I am newly married as of 2020. My wife and I enjoy hiking together, traveling and playing board/card games with our friends and family. I also love to read and enjoy playing music.
