About Nicholas W. Kaufman
Philosophy of care
My approach to health care is patient centric. I believe it is my job to serve you as my patient with integrity and honesty. I feel a particular sense of duty in making sure you are fully educated so that our approach most accurately reflects your own goals of care.
Why I entered medicine
Medicine has always been a passion of mine, starting with my time in emergency medical services (EMS) and continuing today. I greatly enjoy participating as a member of a team in the diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of my patients. I look forward to continuing to grow as a physician assistant (PA) and be a positive reflection for the Lehigh Valley community.
I've spent several years volunteering with an array of fire departments, including a year as a live-in with Hyattsville Volunteer Fire Department outside Washington, D.C.
I enjoy spending my free time outdoors in all seasons. I am an avid fisher and hiker. When I'm not outdoors, I enjoy reading and the gym. Most importantly, I love to spend time with my wife, family and friends.
