About Dr. Wallace

Philosophy of care

My philosophy is to provide you individualized, highly specialized and comprehensive care. I merge surgical excellence and cutting-edge techniques with careful attention to aesthetic ideals. As a plastic surgeon, my vision is to be at your side during your most vulnerable times. For me the people, the relationships and the ability to change lives for the better are the biggest rewards.

Why I entered medicine

My desire to become a physician began in the operating room as a college student – but I was the one on the table. I'd been racing motocross 12 years when an accident ended my racing career and hopes of becoming a professional racer. Two years later, as I nervously awaited my third surgery, I was comforted by a surgical resident. The young man's compassion, knowledge, confidence and attention to detail helped me prepare mentally for the surgery. After speaking with the surgeon and his team, I knew these were the physicians I wanted to emulate. Their sense of teamwork and commitment to helping others was unmatched by anything I'd seen before. At that time, surgery piqued my interest as a career, and those memories fueled my passion throughout my own training to become the plastic surgeon I am today.

Community involvement

I have volunteered with local Pennsylvania organizations, including the Lupus Foundation of Pennsylvania, the American Cancer Society and the Four Diamonds fund and Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon to combat childhood cancer. I also have served as a volunteer teaching assistant, working with first-year medical students and physician assistant students in anatomy and physiology.

Personal interests

Outside of medicine and surgery, I enjoy spending time with my family and exploring the Lehigh Valley. I also enjoy CrossFit, traveling, and trying new restaurants and cuisines.

Ratings and Reviews

About Our Ratings and Reviews

About our Survey

Our physicians and advanced practice clinicians (CRNPs and PA-Cs) are among the nation's best. That's why we show you patient satisfaction ratings and comments so you can read about and get to know our providers through the eyes of their patients.

To ensure our ratings and comments come only from verified patients, we work with NRC Health, a third-party organization. NRC Health sends patient satisfaction surveys on LVPG's behalf following an office visit or procedure. They ask patients about their impression of the health care provider and the doctor's or advanced practice clinician's communication skills.

What is included in the star rating?

Star ratings are based on a scale of 1-5 stars, 5 being the best. The rating includes responses to these provider-related questions:

  1. Physician Communication Questions
    1. Did this provider give you enough information about your health and treatment?
    2. Did this provider give you easy to understand information about your health questions and concerns?
    3. Did this provider listen carefully to you?
    4. Did this provider seem to know your medical history?
    5. Did you trust this provider with your care?
  2. Overall Provider Rating Question
    1. Using any number from 0 to 10, where 0 is the worst provider possible and 10 is the best provider possible, what number would you use to rate this provider?

Why don't all doctors or advanced practice clinicians have a rating?

In order to have enough data to measure and compare, a health care provider must have at least 30 completed patient satisfaction surveys. Surveys are included for a period of 12 months from submission.
