Walter and Irene Baran Schuylkill Family Medicine Residency Research Opportunities and Publications

Our department has a rich tradition of research and scholarly work to advance the discipline of family medicine. All residents complete two scholarly projects:

  • A practice improvement project designed to train learners to be leaders in clinical practice
  • A research project to answer a question of interest to the resident that will advance knowledge in our specialty

The LVHN Department of Family Medicine has significant resources available to assist residents in formulating their projects and translating their work into presentations or publications in regional or national venues.
