Career goal: Clinical practice

“LVHN is a large community health system that provides clinical exposure to both routine and rare diseases.”

What makes your LVHN training program different from others across the country?

LVHN is a large community health system that provides clinical exposure to both routine and rare diseases. This clinical environment is supported by faculty with diverse academic and clinical training backgrounds well-suited for diagnosis and evidence-based care.

What has been the most unique part of your training experience so far?

The most unique part of my experience so far has been training in the diagnostic and therapeutic use of musculoskeletal ultrasound.

What is one memory you have from your training so far that will stick with you for your career?

I’ll always remember the feeling of diagnosing a complex case.

What is one piece of advice you would share with someone as they select a training program?

Ask as many questions of the faculty, staff and fellows as possible to determine if the program will be a good fit for you.

What does it mean to be a fellow at LVHN?

Training at LVHN means preparing for independent practice with the support of faculty and peers. I have made lifelong friends during my training.
