Our Services

Outpatient Cardiac Rehabilitation

This program begins soon after discharge from the hospital. You will exercise while wearing a heart monitor. An educational program is also provided which includes information on controlling risk factors such as:

  • Smoking
  • High Cholesterol
  • Hypertension
  • Diabetes
  • Physical Inactivity
  • Being Overweight

As you progress, you will experience improved exercise tolerance, strength, endurance and flexibility. The length of the program is designed to meet individual health needs, however the lessons you learn will give you the heart to live a healthier life.

Outpatient Cardiac Rehabilitation may be of benefit to you if you have had any of the following:

  • Heart Attack
  • Stable Angina (chest pain)
  • Congestive Heart Failure
  • Valve Replacement
  • Bypass Surgery
  • PTCA/Stent
  • Heart Transplant

The cost of the program is covered by most health insurance plans. Please check with your insurance company or call us with any questions about your coverage.

Maintenance Care

This program provides individuals the opportunity to better manage chronic diseases, promoting healthier lifestyles. Exercise is completed under medical supervision. Fees for the maintenance are on a monthly basis.

The research is overwhelming in determining that exercise has a positive impact when managing many chronic diseases and has a tremendous health benefit when added to a person's everyday routine. Cardiac rehabilitation can help facilitate these lifestyle changes and assist you with your recovery.
