Why choose us

LVPG Obstetrics and Gynecology is the area’s leading obstetrics and gynecology practice, with many convenient locations. Our board-certified obstetrician gynecologists (OB-GYN), as well as certified registered nurse practitioners (CRNP), physician assistants (PA-C), nurse midwives and registered nurses, are dedicated to your health and well-being from preconception through postpartum.

A healthy pregnancy starts with preconception gynecologic care.. Your obstetrician can answer questions and ensure you are in good health for pregnancy. And once you become pregnant, our practices follow a standard prenatal care model called “Maternity Care Pathway.” With this pathway, you will know when all your upcoming appointments are scheduled from your first visit through postpartum.

Your first appointment

You’ll want to schedule your first prenatal appointment within 5-8 weeks of becoming pregnant. Our care team will review your medical history and order prenatal blood work. It is very important to have your blood work done early in pregnancy.

We’ll also begin mother and baby education with you. During the first trimester, you’ll be invited to a group webinar led by LVPG Obstetrics and Gynecology that covers:

  • Information about the practice
  • How to communicate with your team
  • Genetics discussion
  • Diet and exercise
  • Early pregnancy precautions

If you recently found out you’re pregnant, schedule an appointment with LVPG Obstetrics and Gynecology. We’re your motherhood partners and ready to guide you on this exciting journey.
