Pediatric Video Visits
There are times you need some medical advice for your child, but making a trip to see a health care provider is not possible – it’s snowing, or an illness strikes in the middle of the night.
For those non-emergency situations, schedule an LVHN Pediatric Video Visit. If your child is between the ages of 3 and 17 and you have proxy access to their MyLVHN account, you can schedule a pediatric video visit from wherever you are within the state of Pennsylvania. (See FAQs to learn more about proxy access and why you must physically be in Pennsylvania for the video visit.)
All you need in addition to proxy access to your child’s MyLVHN account, is your video-enabled smart phone or other internet-connected device. Then you and your child can see an LVHN health care provider right from the convenience of your home. Because our health care provider can review your child’s LVHN electronic medical record, they have a full picture of your child’s health, such as any conditions or allergies he or she might have, a list of medications that may have been prescribed, whether this is a new or an ongoing health problem, etc. This helps ensure your child receives personalized and comprehensive care through the video visit.
An LVHN Pediatric Video Visit is appropriate for children 3 years and older who have:
Select urology patients of LVPG Pediatric Surgical Specialties also may be eligible for an LVHN Video Visit if your child’s health care provider from the surgical practice determines it is right for your child.
