Plastic Surgery Resident Benefits

The following program-specific benefits are offered to LVHN plastic surgery residents in addition to the graduate medical education (GME)-wide salary and benefits.

  • Three weeks vacation
  • $1,500 yearly allowance for conference or course registration and travel; one conference (up to five days)
  • Additional allowance if presenting at a conference
  • Complete funding for Dallas Rhinoplasty course in PGY 5 in lieu of another conference
  • Opportunity to travel to Haiti with residents and attendings from University of Miami to perform craniofacial surgery
  • Two lab coats per year
