More access 

• Women's Health Center at Tower Place, the region’s first center devoted to women’s health, is now open in Bethlehem.  

• New Health Center at Tower Place provides primary and specialty care. 

• New ExpressCARE locations in downtown Allentown and at Health Center at Tower Place give you more access to walk-in care.  

• New behavioral health hospital, Hanover Hill Behavioral Health, will soon open across from Lehigh Valley Hospital (LVH)–Muhlenberg.  

• Construction on an expanded emergency department at LVH–Muhlenberg is underway. 

• New neighborhood hospitals in Tannersville and Hellertown will open soon. 

• Greater access to Jefferson Health specialists in the Philadelphia area gives you more choice and expertise.

• CAR-T cell therapy activates the immune system to destroy certain cancers.  

• Liver transplant services are now provided at LVHN.   

• Histotripsy destroys liver cancer without incisions, radiation or needles.  

• Focused ultrasound changes lives for people with essential tremor and Parkinson’s disease. 

• LVHN among the first to provide elbow joint implant.

• Jefferson Lehigh Valley Classic, an official PGA TOUR Champions’ event, is coming to Lehigh Country Club in 2026, with all proceeds benefiting local charities and providing a major economic boost to our region.  

• LVHN named the official health care partner of ArtsQuest SteelStacks campus and naming partner of the Turn & Grind redevelopment project.
