Before Pregnancy
A healthy pregnancy starts with preconception gynecologic care. Talk with your obstetrician, midwife or primary health care provider as soon as you begin thinking about becoming pregnant. Your obstetrician or midwife can answer questions and ensure you are in good health for pregnancy. It’s important to discuss things like:
- Preexisting health conditions
- Any medications or supplements you take
- Family medical history
- Vaccinations including COVID-19
- Any questions or concerns you may have
