Our heart (cardiac) surgeons and lung (thoracic) surgeons are all board-certified, many having served fellowships or received additional training with leading programs. Interventional cardiology specialists at the Heart and Vascular Institute are experts at performing minimally invasive procedures, such as angioplasty or stent placement. For patients with heart rhythm irregularities, such as atrial fibrillation (Afib), the Heart and Vascular Institute’s electrophysiologists have the expertise and tools to precisely identify the location of the electrical abnormality and treat it.
