Request MedEvac at Your Event
Lehigh Valley Health Network's MedEvac crew is ready to respond to an emergency 24/7 with its helicopter or ground fleet.
When a patient needs critical care transportation, Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN)-MedEvac provides it by air or by ground. LVHN-MedEvac provides 24/7 operation of four critical care helicopters and two critical care ambulances. Staffed by LVHN clinicians, LVHN-MedEvac brings high-quality care to seriously ill or injured patients throughout the region. Helicopters and ambulances are staffed by a specially trained paramedic (EMT-P), critical care registered nurse (RN) and a pilot or emergency medical technician (EMT) driver.
LVHN-MedEvac helicopters, ambulances and crews are made available for educational opportunities at community and professional events. To request involvement in your upcoming event please fill out this form and a member of our LVHN-MedEvac team will respond to you within seven days.
If you do not receive a response within seven days of submitting your request or if you have any questions, please call 610-402-8667. Final confirmation is contingent on your acceptance of the items outlined below and completion of the information requested and return of same to MedEvac. The visit by MedEvac is contingent on the following:
1. The landing area is suitable for landing the helicopter.
2. You or your organization has secured permission from the owner of the property referenced above for the visit with the helicopter and will take appropriate action and be responsible for securing the area for the arrival of the aircraft to include appropriate personnel to keep people clear of the landing area and removal or securing of all loose equipment and non-permanent or portable objects that might be blown about by the rotorwash of the aircraft.
3. Availability of the aircraft at the requested time is determined by transport mission requirements, weather and aircraft maintenance factors that may necessitate delay or cancellation of the visit at the last minute.
4. Our Communications Center will coordinate notification of actual arrival time, where possible, prior to the scheduled arrival time.
