Allen Boxbaum, MS, MBA, is Senior Vice President of Lehigh Valley Heart and Vascular Institute, a position he has held since 2022. In this role, he helps lead LVHN's world-class heart and vascular services by growing new sites and relationships, driving exceptional clinical quality and providing an exceptional patient experience.

Lehigh Valley Heart and Vascular Institute is one of the largest and most respected cardiovascular programs in Pennsylvania. Ranked among the top heart and surgery hospitals in the country by U.S. News & World Report, Lehigh Valley Heart and Vascular Institute includes six hospitals, 28 ambulatory delivery sites, and a full array of preventive, diagnostic, acute, tertiary and quaternary cardiovascular services. The Heart and Vascular Institute is supported by a team of cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, interventional cardiologists, vascular surgeons and a dedicated team of advanced practice clinicians and support staff.

In his previous role with LVHN, Mr. Boxbaum served as Vice President of Operations, Lehigh Valley Physician Group. During his tenure, he had oversight of heart and vascular practices, women’s health, surgery and previously primary care service lines.

In prior roles before joining LVHN, Mr. Boxbaum served as Vice President of Cardiovascular Services for Barnabas Health and Vice President of Cardiovascular Services for the former Catholic Health East system in western New York.

Mr. Boxbaum earned his MBA from Rochester Institute of Technology and his master’s degree in audiology from Syracuse University. He began his career as a practicing audiologist before shifting into management roles and maintains his license and certification. He is a member of the American College of Health Care Executives and the American College of Cardiology Administrators Division.
