Edward C. Dougherty, MBA, was named Senior Vice President and Chief Business Development Officer of Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) in 2014. He joined LVHN in 2001 and has served in Vice President and Senior Vice President business development positions. 

Mr. Dougherty’s responsibilities include business and network development, and marketing and public affairs. His business development responsibilities include inter-hospital relationships, merger and acquisition projects, developing new affiliations, strategic planning and representation of LVHN at AllSpire Health Partners where he is former Chair of the Development Committee. Marketing and public affairs activities include community relations, corporate communications, advertising and digital communications. He also is a member of the Lehigh Valley Hospital (LVH)–Pocono and LVH–Dickson City Board of Directors.

Mr. Dougherty earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of Iowa, and a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Missouri. He is Secretary of the Board of Directors of Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation.
