Michael A. Rossi, MD, MBA, is Executive Vice President and Chief Clinical Officer of Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN). In his role as LVHN’s Chief Clinical Officer, Dr. Rossi oversees hospital-based clinical services, LVHN's institutes and service lines, network quality and patient safety, medical staff services, as well as LVHN's academic, education and research enterprise. Dr. Rossi is a member of the Lehigh Valley Hospital Board of Trustees and holder of the Anne and Carl Anderson Endowed Chair for Medical Executive Leadership at LVHN. He is a Professor of Cardiology at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. He also is a Board member of the American Medical Group Association (AMGA), where he serves as Chair of AMGA's CEO Council.

Prior to his current role, Dr. Rossi was Chief Physician Executive for LVHN and President of Lehigh Valley Physician Group (LVPG), the health network’s employed medical group with nearly 2,000 providers. In addition, Dr. Rossi previously served as Chief of Cardiology and Medical Director of LVHN's Heart Center. He was the inaugural holder of the Walter and Hazel May Endowed Chair for Excellence in Cardiology. Dr. Rossi also served as President and Board Chair of LVHN’s Accountable Care Organization (ACO) and was an elected Board member of the National Association of Accountable Care Organizations (NAACOS).

Dr. Rossi received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Brown University and his medical degree from the Brown University School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, where he was a chief resident; his general cardiology fellowship at The Graduate Hospital, affiliated with the University of Pennsylvania; followed by an advanced cardiac imaging fellowship at Temple University Hospital. He completed his MBA in Health Care Systems Management at DeSales University.

Dr. Rossi is an active member of the community – having served on the Boards of The Hillside School, the Lehigh Valley Chapter of the American Heart Association, and most recently the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce.
