Hi, my name is Samantha Reinhart, and I am the behavioralist for the Walter and Irene Baran Schuylkill Family Medicine Residency Program. I also provide counseling services in our rural family medicine office, serving various ages, diagnoses and needs.

I am pursuing a PhD in counselor education and supervision at the University of the Cumberlands. I earned my master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling, focusing on substance abuse and addiction counseling, from The College of New Jersey. Previously, I obtained a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice with a minor in Spanish from Kutztown University. I am a licensed professional counselor as well as a licensed behavior specialist.

Throughout my clinical experience, I’ve practiced in various levels of care, from outpatient, community-based, partial-hospitalization programs to an inpatient addiction rehab center. I have found that I am most passionate about serving in the community and creating partnerships that allow for creative ways to provide care. I am genuinely excited about how our residency aims to integrate into the community and believe it will positively impact Schuylkill County.

Outside work, I enjoy hiking, running, coaching college cheerleading, visiting friends and family and traveling anywhere warm. Most of all, I love spending time with my sons, Jaxon and Maddox, and my husband, Richie.
