Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer at Lehigh Valley Health Network. Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older to apply. At this time, applications for college and high school students for the Summer Program are closed. We encourage you to visit us again in June, when applications reopen. Applications for the Fall Session will be accepted from June 29, 2026 through July 20, 2026.

Steps to become an LVHN volunteer

To become an LVHN volunteer, complete a volunteer application.

Additional requirements

  • Schedule interview with volunteer coordinator at corresponding campus.
  • Submit two (2) satisfactory references from non-family members. Reference form to be provided during the interview process.
  • Complete necessary TB testing at no cost to volunteer.
  • A clear Pennsylvania Criminal History Check, Child Abuse Clearance, and FBI fingerprinting, if applicable.
  • Attend a virtual orientation for LVHN volunteers.

As a volunteer, you will receive credit toward lunch in the cafeteria before or after your volunteer shift.

We offer free parking to volunteers at LVHN locations.

Volunteers are offered a free membership at our state-of-the-art LVHN Fitness locations.
