Lehigh Valley Health Network emergency medical services
Lehigh Valley Health Network Emergency Medical Services (EMS) provides emergency 911 response and interfacility transportation across Northeastern Pennsylvania, delivering Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) care.
Our teams serve communities throughout Luzerne and Monroe counties, with operations based in Hazleton and West End. Join a team where every call brings the opportunity to make a difference.
Our EMS team includes:
- Emergency medical technician – basic (EMT-Bs): Provide basic emergency medical care, stabilize patients, and transport them safely to a healthcare facility.
- Advanced EMTs: Provide additional emergency medical interventions and care in the field.
- Paramedics: Provide advanced emergency medical care and treatment during 911 response and patient transport.
LVHN–MedEvac air and ground
MedEvac provides helicopter and ground critical care transport across eastern Pennsylvania, southern New York, and New Jersey. Operations are based in Allentown, Kutztown, Pottsville, Hazleton, and East Stroudsburg, Pa.
Our teams work in dynamic transport environments where teamwork, clinical expertise, and sound decision-making are essential. Team members care for patients who require advanced medical support during transport.
Our MedEvac team includes:
- Flight and critical care transport paramedics
- Nurses on air and ground transport teams
- Critical care transport EMT-Bs supporting ground operations
JeffSTAT air and ground
JeffSTAT provides helicopter and ground critical care transport across Southeastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland. Teams provide specialized care during transport, working together to safely move critically ill and injured patients between care settings.
Operations are based in Philadelphia, Sewell, N.J.; Media, Pa.; Lansdale, Pa.; and Wilmington, Del. An additional operation is based in Woodbine, N.J., through a partnership with AtlantiCare Health.
Our JeffSTAT team includes:
- Flight and critical care transport paramedics
- Critical care transport nurses
