Respiratory equipment technician

If you’ve earned your high school diploma or GED and are enrolled in a respiratory therapy program, your respiratory equipment technician career can begin. In this role, you’ll support respiratory therapists by maintaining and preparing critical patient-care equipment.

Respiratory therapy intern

As a student enrolled in a Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC)-accredited respiratory therapy education program with an internship component, you can apply to become a respiratory therapy intern. This position allows you to build confidence in patient assessment and clinical decision-making while completing your education.

RRT

After graduating from a registered respiratory therapist program accredited by CoARC, you can begin working as an RRT. You’ll deliver advanced respiratory and pulmonary care in our hospitals and receive support to earn your credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care.
