Ovarian Cancer
We have gynecologic oncologists as part of the Lehigh Valley Cancer Institute. They provide the most advanced care, including access to treatments that aren’t available elsewhere. For example, we were one of the research sites for intraperitoneal chemotherapy for advanced ovarian cancer. This therapy is shown to extend life an average of 18 months – an astonishing advance in cancer treatment.
