Tuition Assistance Benefits

At Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN), we believe learning never stops. Our Tuition Assistance Policy helps colleagues grow, learn and advance their careers by providing financial support for degree programs and certificates at Thomas Jefferson University and other accredited institutions.

Support for Thomas Jefferson University programs

LVHN colleagues receive enhanced tuition assistance when enrolling at Thomas Jefferson University, plus access to special tuition discounts on select graduate programs. The University offers both in-person and online courses to fit a variety of career paths.

Undergraduate courses

  • Full-time: up to $5,000 per year
  • Part-time: up to $2,500 per year

Graduate courses

  • Full-time: up to $7,500 per year
  • Part-time: up to $3,750 per year

Support for Joseph F. McCloskey School of Nursing 

Joseph F. McCloskey School of Nursing at LVHN is offering tuition waivers for people interested in a career in nursing. The tuition waiver program is available LVHN colleagues. While in nursing school, students commit to working at least in a per-diem role or greater in a nursing support role. The tuition waiver applies to McCloskey School of Nursing tuition costs and does not cover the cost of application or registration fees, uniforms, books or other fees.

Support for other colleges and universities

Colleagues pursuing education outside of Thomas Jefferson University also receive tuition assistance:

Undergraduate courses

  • Full-time: up to $4,000 per year
  • Part-time: up to $2,000 per year

Graduate courses

  • Full-time: up to $5,000 per year
  • Part-time: up to $2,500 per year

Certificate programs

Eligible certificate programs are also covered if they are credit-bearing, job-related and offered by Thomas Jefferson University or another accredited institution.
