About
Philosophy of care
My philosophy of care is to provide exceptional evidence-based anesthesia care. By evaluating performance and clinical outcomes through our network quality program, we can proactively identify ways to improve both care and services rendered.
Why I entered medicine
I became a certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) because I enjoyed the operating room environment and the pharmacology associated with the anesthetic drugs. I worked in a very busy Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit as an RN, and that is where my interest and mentorship began. I enjoy the critical nature of the profession as well as the rapid decision making, technical and scope of practice a CRNA enjoys. It is an honor and privilege to take care of another human being.
Community involvement
I have three children who are all very active in community sports.
Personal interests
My personal interests include reading, boating, travel and football.
