Drug Screening

Pharmacy and nuclear medicine students ONLY must undergo a 10 panel drug screening.

Documentation of a negative 10 panel drug screen is required prior to your start date. The test must be dated within the 6 months before your start date. This type of drug screen can be obtained at the location of the student's choice (private physician's office, school health center, commercial laboratory center, or any of the HealthWorks clinics listed below). Some laboratories require a physician's prescription to perform the test. Alternatively, if you are in the Lehigh Valley area prior to the start of your experience at LVHN, HealthWorks performs drug testing services on a walk in basis, no prescription necessary. Note: LVHN does not provide drug testing for students. The student is responsible for any and all charges.

The 10 drugs that we require you be screened for are as follows:

AMPHETAMINE                               OXYCODONE

BARBITURATE                               BENZODIAZEPINE

CANNABINOIDS (THC)                    COCAINE

METHADONE                                  PROPOXYPHENE

OPIATE, URINE                              PHENCYCLIDINE
