Program Statistics

Joseph F. McCloskey School of Nursing at Lehigh Valley Health Network offers a three-year diploma program in professional nursing. The curriculum design includes one year (two semesters) of pre-requisite university courses and two years (six terms) of nursing courses.

NCLEX-RN Pass Rates According to PA State Board of Nursing Statistics

Using the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing time-reporting period (10/1 – 9/30), the annual licensure pass rate for NCLEX-RN first time test-takers will be at least 80 percent. It is expected that greater than or equal to 80 percent of graduates will pass NCLEX-RN on first attempt using Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing time-reporting period.

10/1/19 – 9/30/20: 78.13%

10/1/18 – 9/30/19:  88%

Greater than or equal to 75 percent of students who begin first nursing course will graduate from the diploma program within 150 percent of time frame allotted (Student Right to Know; ACEN).
