Christopher Johns, PT, DPT
Director

Hi, I’m Chris Johns, and I have the privilege of serving as the Director of the Lehigh Valley Health Network Neurologic Physical Therapy Residency. I have been a physical therapist for more than 15 years, earning my Doctor of Physical Therapy from Saint Francis University and later completing a fellowship in orthopedic manual physical therapy through Regis University. Most of my clinical experience is rooted in orthopedic spine care and manual therapy, but I’ve always had a passion for education, mentorship and fostering clinical expertise, no matter the specialty. I’m excited to lead the way with the rest of the neuro-residency team to develop neurologic experts in the Lehigh Valley.
Outside of the neurologic residency and patient care, I lead continuing education, professional development and performance improvement initiatives across our health network. I also serve as a mentor to orthopedic residents and manual therapy fellows and teach on topics such as clinical reasoning, manual therapy and outcomes-driven care.
When I’m not in the clinic or the classroom, I can be found with my wife and our six kids, usually at one of their sports events or other extracurricular activities.
