Hello, my name is Taylor Furry, and I am a physical therapist and the rehab clinical specialist for spinal cord injury (SCI) for Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN).

I obtained both my bachelor’s degree in health care management and my Doctor of Physical Therapy from Misericordia University. Following graduation in 2017, I started my career in the skilled nursing sector of physical therapy, while working per diem at the inpatient rehab units at LVHN, and then I transitioned fully to inpatient rehab at a local SCI rehab unit. A little over a year ago, I joined LVHN full time as the rehab clinical specialist for SCI, covering across the continuum of care in acute care and inpatient rehab and staying in contact with our outpatient partners who see SCI patients.

I view hands-on mentorship and education in the rehab process as an opportunity to share my expertise in caring for the SCI patient specifically. I am beyond excited to be here at LVHN in this capacity and look forward to working with the newest neurology physical therapy residents.

When not working, I enjoy being outside with my husband, Joe, as well as hiking the local trails. We also are a split professional/collegiate sports household, so we love to cheer on our local Lehigh Valley teams together.
