Hi. I am the Neurologic Residency Coordinator and am in my 37th year with Lehigh Valley Health Network. In that time, I provided physical therapy for patients in acute care with a focus in neurocritical and neurosurgical care and wound care, and in the past 11 years I have been caring for patients in outpatient at our Neuro Rehab Destination Center. I acquired my Master of Physical Therapy from Beaver College (now Arcadia University) in 1988 and returned for my Doctor of Physical Therapy from Arcadia in 2015. I have served as our coordinator for student programming and then coordinator of neuro programming and now manage our large Neuro Rehab Destination Center.

I have obtained specialty certifications primarily because of my thirst for continued learning and to provide the best care for my patients. I have presented nationally on several national poster and platform presentations, as well as on a research poster that was presented internationally. I have a passion for lifelong learning and for best practices and enjoy sharing that learning with my colleagues and students.

I can juggle many items, including balls, goniometers and knives. I believe learning to juggle at an early age helped prepare me for raising three children while working, and for managing our busy neurologic rehabilitation site while building our regional neuro rehab programs and treating patients to keep my skills sharp in clinical care.

I enjoy running for exercise, boxing on the Oculus, hiking and swimming. I also love to travel, trying to keep up with my world-traveling kids. I play a mean game of cornhole, am working on ax throwing and enjoy going to local wineries and breweries for tastings. I am a big Penn State fan, with a son who has graduated from there and a son who is soon to graduate. We have a fun-loving black Lab who sometimes lets us in the pool. Spending time with family and friends in any adventure is my greatest joy.
